Every day, we take another step towards a more sustainable future. In addition to our ISO14001 approach, implemented since 2022 to strengthen our environmental commitment, numerous local initiatives bear witness to our concrete involvement in the field.
Here are some inspiring examples:
Local composting
Our branches in Zulte and Hannut sort their vegetable waste and use composting drums on site. The compost produced is then used as a natural fertiliser for the plants on site, thus sustainably closing the loop.
Eco-grazing
In Chimay, we have adopted an ecological alternative to mechanical mowing. Four sheep maintain the lawn around the depot. Not only do their droppings enrich the soil, but this method also reduces the use of fossil fuels.
Reuse and recycling
Our workshops take a sustainable approach by recycling components from old vehicles. These spare parts are reused to maintain or repair our fleet, thus reducing waste and maximising their usefulness.
Reforestation
In collaboration with our suppliers Iveco and Mercedes, we contribute to the planting of around a hundred trees every year, thus reinforcing our positive impact on the environment.
