We have put together a varied programme especially for the VOKA Company Open Day, designed to tell you more about what Keolis does in Belgium and more generally about the Keolis Group worldwide.
Curious to find out more about our range of vehicles? From minibuses to double-deckers, from the very latest vehicles to buses straight from the 1970s, you will find out all about Keolis at the Company Open Day.
The aim is to let you explore our operating facilities at Neder-Over-Heembeek while our mechanics explain the jobs they do. Repairing a bus is a good deal more complicated than tinkering under the bonnet of a car, so there is much for you to discover. And as you would expect, we will also be telling you more about the ins and outs of being a bus or coach driver.
What we want to do is give you a taste of what’s involved and – who knows? – we may even convince you to obtain a class D driving licence! Best of all, you’ll be able to try everything out for yourself, such as take a drive in a bus simulator. We’ll also show you why you must never drive when intoxicated and to make it feel real, you can discover the ‘drunken’ effects of alcohol by putting on our special alcohol glasses. Or if you have never driven a bus before but have always fancied having a go, you may well find yourself behind the wheel of our bus on a test drive!
There’s plenty for the children to enjoy, too, with lots of events and entertainment – plus we’ll be providing something for you to drink!
Parking will be provided within walking distance of Keolis Belgium, but please feel free to come by bicycle. If you do, you can park on the company premises. Don’t forget to bring your bike lock with you! Coming by public transport would also be a good option. Of course we at Keolis are great proponents of bus transport and can only encourage it! The nearest stop in Neder-Over-Heembeek is Antoon Van Oss (line numbers 14, 47).
There is so much more to discover in our region, too. In fact, Keolis Belgium is right in the Buda hotspot for VOKA Company Open Day. You can visit a number of different companies located close together. To visit some companies, registering is compulsory. Be sure to take a look at www.openbedrijvendag.be.
