Keolis, a global leader in operating sustainable and connected transportation solutions, announced the appointment of a new manager director for its subsidiary in Belgium. On May 1st Stefan De Prycker will start after a three week introduction period.
Stefan has a master degree in automotive engineering and began his career in sales management. He joined Bosch and held the position of Automotive Product Manager for the Benelux and later for Valeo with marketing and sales responsibilities. He then held general management positions with a series of automotive sub-contractors. In 2010 Stefan joined MediaMarkt, the European leader in the distribution of electronic goods, as Director for Belgium & Luxembourg.

Stefan will lead Keolis Belgium through a fast changing environment, with due respect for the current organization and its employees. He will face challenges with the Public Transport structure change in Flanders. We fully trust Stefan to further implement the strategic goals and innovate with the Belgian team”.
Redgy Deschacht who served as an interim manager director led the company to some commercial successes in the past nine months –launching the Ouibus between Lille and Bruges and the electric mini buses (so called Wandelbus) in Ghent. Under his supervision 19 Belgian subsidiaries were also assigned the ISO 39001 “safety on the road” certification. On June 1st Redgy Deschacht will return to his part-time position as advisor to the Belgian board and management team and will continue to support Keolis on several topics.
