Partnership between Musée Hergé and Keolis
Who hasn’t heard of Tintin and his friend Captain Haddock, with his famous cry of “blue blistering barnacles”?
Equal parts fun-loving and serious, the famous young reporter takes us along on his travels and leads us to discover new horizons.
Driven by Ingrid Nuelant, former CEO of Keolis Belgium, a win-win partnership was established between these two entities, whose offerings are different yet complementary. These travel-inspired partners complement each other perfectly, notably through collaborations like the “Tintin - Hergé Museum” bus tour for visitors to Brussels.
To take their collaboration even further, a new project was developed, allowing Keolis to benefit from the fame of Tintin and his friends while the Hergé Museum benefits from the visibility of Keolis vehicles: the Keolis-Tintin buses!
To clearly present this collaboration between Keolis and the Hergé Museum, we’ve outfitted a fleet of 20 vehicles with large-scale images of the most well-known examples of Hergé’s works: characters from his famous comic albums, especially Tintin and his travelling companions.
As numerous subsidiaries of Keolis Belgium are interested in the project, it was decided that the 20 Keolis-Tintin buses will equally present throughout the country. Six or seven buses will be present in each region - one third of the vehicles in the Walloon Region, one third in the Flemish Region and one third in the Brussels-Capital Region. This project will be implemented gradually, between now and January, on 20 Crossway vehicles used for regular and occasional school transport.
