“Whether on a bus or in a car: I buckle up!”As the new school year kicks off, Keolis Belgium launches a campaign focusing on wearing seat belts in its coaches.
Wearing seat belts in cars has been mandatory for years now. However, the same goes for minibuses and coaches equipped with them. For passengers it is a simple habit that can save lives. To further put this in the picture, Keolis Belgium launches an awareness campaign at the beginning of this school year. Its goal is to inform passengers riding more than 1000 school buses in Belgium.
Stefan De Prycker, Keolis Belgium’s CEO, stresses the importance of the seat belt: “Even at low speeds seat belts save lives. It is the therefore vitally important that school kids as well as adults wear their seat belts during the entire trip.”
During the campaign, Keo’Man, Keolis’s superhero, will be joining several school bus rides to check if children wear their seat belts. He will be doing so in a playful yet strict manner. The importance of wearing a seat belt will yet again be explained. Flyers will be handed out and an awareness campaign will be set up on Facebook, showing a short movie featuring Keo’Man.
Safety is Keolis’s number one priority. Every day, no less than 45.000 children ride our school buses and coaches. After this campaign it will be more than clear to them why they should always buckle up!
